Emergence: A Somatic Plant Experience

Join us at Boco Coop Farm Stand for a 2-hour embodied exploration of spring’s most powerful process: emergence. Through gentle, mindful movement, we’ll inhabit the wisdom of plants as they root, sprout, flower, and pollinate.

Discover how seeds break dormancy and push through soil, reaching toward light. Experience both the scientific and spiritual unfolding of ones’ leaves, the patient unfurling that transforms potential into form. Feel what pollination really means: not just contact, but the slow dance of finding right relationship, the tender exchange between beings.

Through both guided and free flowing organic movement sequences, we’ll explore rooting down into earth, the ecstatic reach of sprouting upward, the opening vulnerability of flowering, and the art of pollination finding and being found. Partner and group exercises mirror nutrient exchange through mycorrhizal networks and the collaborative relationship between pollinators and blooms.

This workshop offers both literal body awareness and metaphorical insight into life transitions. What are you ready to emerge into? What resources support your growth? How might you honor your own seasons of breaking open and reaching out?

No movement experience necessary. All bodies welcome. Come prepared to move slowly, rest deeply, and discover spring’s teachings in your own tissue.

Feel free to bring any snacks, blankets, cuddly items, yoga mats, etc.
